Our annual art competition launches every August as schools return. For more information click on your geographical region on the menu bar for specific details.
The remit is the same for each area, pupils are asked to “Create a piece of art illustrating a game or wildlife species from the British Isles, in its natural habitat.”
Artwork can be produced in any medium; creativity is encouraged. Highland cows and ponies dont count!
Three categories, Primary 1-4, Primary 5-7 and Secondary. Additional Support Needs entries are encouraged, seperate prizes will be awarded. There will be a winner and three commended from each category. Those selected will all be invited to a prizegiving day at Fingask Castle, and pupils, their parents and teachers will all be invited to come and enjoy a day of activities including art workshops and lunch. Our regular prizes of farm visits and art workshops will be awarded in addition to many other art materials, books, vouchers and certificates.
